CELESTIA Traditional Houses is a five star hotel with no rooms, only suites. The unique stone building was built in 1851 by local builders and its architectural structure in the Venetian style is intrinsically connected with traditions and customs of the Leonzini family, local life and traditional architecture. It is located in Keramoto, a picturesque and preserved village at the heart of the island of Kythera, from which you can drive either to Livadi or Potamos, two villages, respectively in the southern and the northern part of the island, that have all the facilities one might require, such as supermarkets, shops, bank and cash-dispensers, coffee-shops, restaurants and internet cafés. Nearby, is also the village Karvounades, in less than 400 meters walking distance, where there is also a supermarket, a local butcher, a traditional bakery, a coffee shop and many other traditional and contemporary utility shops, like a tailor and a clothes’ shop. In Kontolianika, another small village nearby, there is also a small shopping centre, a stationery and a petrol station. Chora, the picturesque capital of the island, and beautiful beaches, such as Paleopoli, Kaladi, Kapsali, Melidoni, Chalkos, Fyri Ammos, are located within a 15 minutes drive from the house.
