Kritinia
|
Kritinia is 55km from the town of Rhodes. It is built on a bulge and has a panoramic view to the sea and the homonym venetian castle, thanks to which it has gained fame and tourist interest. Apart from the castle in the village you can see the church of Saint John with murals from the 16th century.
The small port of Kamiros’ Skala is the beach of village Kritinia. It is a graphic port with fish taverns and an ancient sepulchral monument in a rock, which attracts visitors. The small beaches of the region are ideal for a withdrawal from crowded beaches.
From the port of Kamiros’ Skala you can take a boat to Chalki.
