CAVE OF NYMPHS
The cave of Nymphs or Marmarospilia is a very deep cave with two entrances. One for gods and one for mortals, as the local tradition says. Beautiful stalactites decorate the interior. According to Homer this is the cave where Odysseus hid Alkinoos’, king of Faiakes, presents.
CAVE OF LOIZOS
It is located in the gulf of Town (Stavros), where an ancient town is sank. It was the religious center of protoelladic civilization. The findings certify that in this location was a port used during the mycenaec, hellenistic and roman time.
