Mesaria or Mesa Meria, as locals used to call the village, is a green village of inner Andros. It is 4km from Chora.
As it seems from the sites, the region is inhabited for many centuries. While touring around the village you will see the byzantine church of Taxiarhes dated from the 12th century and the church of Saint Nikolaos built in 18th century.
