 Gavrio

Gavrio is the main port of Andros. It is located in the north part of the island, 30km from Chora. During the last years it has evolved to a cosmopolitan summer resort. Along with the nearby coastal settlement Batsi, are the regions with the biggest tourist development.
Around the port and in the whole settlement are hotels and rooms to let. Options of entertainment satisfy all tastes. From Gavrio you can explore the north part of the island. Enjoy your bath in the beaches of Fellos and Zorkos and visit the small graphic villages Vitali, Amolohos and Makrotantalo.
In the south part of the island the consecutive extend beaches will impress you. Agios Petros, Kipri and Hrisi Ammos are ideal for swimming and water sports.
