Adamantas

Adamantas, Milos' port, is built in the safe arms of a cove and it's considered one of the biggest natural ports in Mediterranean Sea. The homonym village was built in 1835 from Cretes and particularly Sfakianous, who found shelter in the island after their ineffective rebellion against Turkish. It is erected according to the traditional architecture of Cyclades islands. Adamantas is the most developed tourist resort in Milos. Around the port you will find a lot of hotels, rooms to let, coffeehouses, taverns and bars. Many of the public services have their headquarters in Adamantas. It is worth seeing the church of Trinity built in the 17th century. Distinguishes for its special architecture and the rare icons it has. You can visit the beaches of Lagada and Papikinou that has been awarded with the Blue Flag. They are two beautiful beaches with crystal blue waters.
