In the north end of Leros, 9km from Platanos is located Partheni. The small fish village looks like a live painting as it is lying between the sea and a green valley.
In the gulf’s entrance is the small island Archangelos. From there you can take a boat to Lipsous.
The region is of great archaeological interest. The archaeological excavations brought into light the remains of Parthenos Artemide temple, rom which was originally named the village.
Swim in the beaches of Rina, of Agios Stefanos and Belefoutis.
