Katavati is a beautiful village in the banks of Prophet Elia’s hill. It is 3km south of Apollonia. Its settlement, true to traditional architecture impresses every visitor.
Don’t miss visiting the monastery of Prophet Elia, on the top of the hill. It is one of the most important monuments in the island. You will be impressed by the underground arches, where priests used to hide religious heirlooms to protect them from pirate invasions and plunders.
