 Herronisos

Herronisos is a traditional fish village,with a beautiful sandy beach. It is located in the region of Artemonas in the northest part of the island. It is famous for the Pottery Workshops that function in the region. Along the road to Herroniso you will see the agricultural settlements of Diavrouha and Troulaki. Pass the entrance of the path that leads to Agios Sostis with the famous, in ancient times, gold and silver mines. On the hill over Herronisos is the monastery of Saint George where is held a traditional feast in Easter, with sweets and traditional dances.
In the quiet beach of Herronisos you will enjoy your bath in crystal clear waters with a golden beach and the beauty of nature. If you want to eat, there are fish taverns near the beach.
