Arhontiko Despontiko, is a traditional Pelion mansion, built in 1859, offering quality and comfortable A-Class Accommodation for your stay here in this glorious area of Central Greece.
Our mansion was also the first in Pelion to be built after the Egyptian Style.

All of our rooms are beautiful decorated and very spacious. After all, our building is a traditional mansion, so space and luxury are obvious from the moment you step foot inside Arhontiko Despotiko.

What we are most proud of is the fact that we can offer accommodation based on the traditions of the Pelion region, but with the modern commodities that todays traveller have come to expect.
With lovely views of our home village of Portaria, as well as the dominating Pelion skyline, you can be sure that your stay with us will be as enjoyable and as relaxing as Pelion is itself.
All of our rooms come with a bathroom with a tub, TV, telephone and central heating. Everything to make your time spent with us as easy as possible.
Staying with us here at "Arhontiko Despotiko" should not just be about providing a room for our guests for accommodation.
We want to help our guests get the most out of their time spent here in Pelion, and we have some facilities in our mansion with which we are able to do just that.
The decoration of our mansion is based on the traditional decoration of Pelion homes and mansions from years gone by.
We have been able to decorate our mansion with a variety of objects and pieces of art, such as some delightful paintings, wood and metal art pieces, and of course, our famous "key".
For breakfast, we have a large breakfast room, where all of our guests are invited to come to enjoy a very rich and tasty breakfast, such as eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, marmaldes and other such delights.
In our large living room area, you can relax and take a seat and unwind for the evening. We are very proud of the friendly atmosphere at "Arhontiko Despotiko", and are always on hand to assist our guests anyway we can.
Why not head to our delightful bar area for a drink and chat before heading out for the evening. During the winter, with our fireplace lit, we can offer an escape from the bitter cold weather outside. During the summer, take a seat in our garden area and catch a few rays of sun.
