Agios Ioannis is a popular summer resort in Pelion. The village is built in an idyllic location, northwards of Damouhari and 5km from Mouresi.
During the last years Agios Ioannis has evolved to a modern and organized tourist destination.
The magnificent beach of Agios Ioannis with the white pebbles and the emerald waters is a pole of attraction for the region’s visitors. The reddish house roofs reaching down to the sea create a unique atmosphere.
Very close to Agios Ioannis are the sandy beaches of Plaka and Papa-Nero. The blend between mountain and sea creates this sandy shore, one of the most beautiful in Greece.
