 Agios onoufrios

The lush village of Agios Onoufrios is built along the Krafsidonas stream, also widely known as Mega Rema. It is located along the main road from Volos leading to the villages of central Pelion. The village takes its name from the centuries-old ruined Monastery of Saint Onoufrios.
During your visit, it is worth strolling along the main street, starting from the bridge and leading to the village¢s central square, where the church is located. Along the way, you will also encounter the Zafeiriou Mansion, which today hosts cultural events and impresses visitors with its rich frescoes. The village features several tavernas and restaurants where you can savor traditional local dishes.
From Agios Onoufrios, a road leads directly to Makrinitsa, offering a quicker route than following the main road through Pelion.
