The Ski Center of Kalavrita is one of the most famous and best organized in Greece. It is situated in the northwest part of Helmos in a 1700m height. The magnificent view it offers attracts many visitors and lovers of ski.

The ski center is only 14km far from the picturesque town of Kalavrita and 203 km from Athens. The whole region is really beautiful and it is worth having an acquaintance with it.
There are a lot of things to do and see in the surrounding area. If you are a fan of motor sports take the routes for 4X4 cars and for motto cross bikes. While if you like hiking, follow the hiking and mountaineering paths.
The routes for skiing is another experience you ought to live. Don’t miss staying in the refuge and visiting the new telescope of Aristarhos. You will be amazed.

The Ski Center of Kalavrita operates since 1988 and has 12 ski runs and 7 lifts. Five of those lifts are trailing and two are cable railways.
It is worth mentioning that the biggest ski run has 3.200m length and a hypsometric difference of 640m.
Beginners can use freely two of the lifts. The experienced skiers can do moguls ski, snowboard, snow tubes, snowmobile, cross country, parachuting and night ski.
There are organized various events where everyone can participate.

In the center you will find a big parking space, as and two chalets with a restaurant and a cafeteria.
Also renting and buying ski equipment, ski school with trained teachers and a First Aid Station.
