Aegiali

Aegiali is the second port in Amorgos in the north part of the island and has big tourist development. You can approach the port by ferry from Piraeus and the other Cyclades islands or by car from Katapola and Chora. According to the archaeological findings the village is inhabited since ancient times. In position Vigla are located the remains of the ancient town. Aegiali is comprised from three small villages, beautiful and traditional. They are built in the banks of Amorgos' tallest mountain, Krikella (820m height). Lagada, Tholaria and Potamos with their authentic insular beauty impress the visitor at once. Aegiali has big tourist development.
