I was worried Jimmy's would be a touristy low quality place but I tried it anyway because the reviews were so good and it's basically in the backyard of my hotel. It was 7:30 and the sun was about to set but we had no dinner so I said why not. I ran over and ordered a pork gyro, a sausage gyro, a Greek salad, and two baklava. I gotta say, the reviews don't lie. This is fantastic street food, and they got it done so quick even though there was a line of people. Very fast, very fresh, and seriously very good quality! Special mention goes to the baklava. I'm picky because I had the best while growing up in NY, or so I thought. Jimmy's legitimately was the best I've ever had. Totally unexpected! Anyway, I made it back in time for the legendary sunset and all was right with the world. Highly recommended when you're ready for some souvlaki!
Just so we thought we'd had the best pork gyro we'd ever had in Greece, and then along came Jimmy's! Truly the most balanced flavorful gyro we've ever had and likely we'll ever have. If you can go there. It's great.
took a load off my feet here, had the chicken and the pork souvlaki gyro, and the pork were was superior in this roast and tenderness, but both were cooked really well and they were just a party in the mouth. so warm and fluffy and tasty and it came with french fries in it. just a banger comfort food, long wait tho for good reason
For less than 10euro per person you can have a delicious meal. Perfect pit stop with a clean washroom and shaded indoor seating for the middle of Fira to oia hike, or if you need some fast food in Imerovigli! Friendly staff, can’t beat this location. I loved the pork souvlaki!
Amazing souvlaki and service. Truly awesome people. The taste was leagues better than most we had on multiple Greek islands. Good pricing for the portions. You cannot go wrong going to Jimmy's. I could have eaten there every day I was in Santorini. If you like Souvlaki and are in Santorini don't pass it up.
