Livadia

Livadia is the port of Tilos, in the edge of a cove with pebbles and crystal clear waters. The settlement keeps its traditional dodecanesean architecture, with an exception. An imposing building from the time of Italian possession. Houses are built around a verdurous location. The coastal road leads to the old graphic port of Agios Stefanos.
In Livadi you will see some of the most important historic monuments in the island. Like the remains of the medieval Castle of Agriosykia on a bulk. Also the remains of the paleochristianic royal church, the small church of Saint Nikolaos with remarkable murals of the 13 century and the church of Panagia Politissa in location Misokali.
It is worth taking a stroll in the paths of the old settlement Gera and admire the small church of Taxiarch of Lithos, with murals from 1580.
In the northwest part of Livadia you will see the forsaken Mikro Chorio. Visit the churches of Sotiras and of Timias Zonis, with murals of the 15th and 18th century.
Swim in the homonym beach and take a boat to the beach of Lethra.
The tourist infrastructures satisfy all demands. You will find rooms to let and hotels providing a pleasant staying. Taste the local recipes in the taverns of the island.
