Sagri is built in a soil plateau. It is located in the southeast part of the island 11km from Chora (town). Distinguishes for the traditional colour of Cyclades islands, the graphic windmills and the byzantine churches. It worths to visit the monastery of the Holy Rood dated from the 16th century that distinguishes for its architecture, the monastery of Saint Eleftherios and the churches of Saint Nicholas and Saint Artemios. During your visit in the village you can see the tower of Somaripa and the ancient temple of Dimitra in Giroulas.
