 Vromolimnos

In the southwest part of the island, 7km from the town you will see the beach of Vromolimnos. In contrary to its name, it is a very beautiful region. Dense vegetation and age long trees create a dreamy scenery.
Swim in the blue green Aegean waters and practice on water sports. The beach is organized (umbrellas, sun beds, etc) and gives the opportunity for water games (bladder, banana, water bike, canoe, etc). It is one of the most crowded beaches in the whole island. But if you are more of a quiet type, prefer the close beaches of Kolios, Platanias and Poros.
You will find many hotels in the region. If you have an appetite, try the local specialties and of course fresh fish, in the taverns along the shore.
