Limnos is an island of the north Aegean Sea. The shape of Limnos reminds one of a molar tooth. Limnos is a sacred island of the god Hephaestus, because according to mythology, it was hurled by Zeus. Limnos remains a quiet and pleasant island, unspoiled from the mass tourism. There are daily flights from Athens and three times a week flights from Thessalonici and island Mytilini. Also the island of Limnos can be reached by sea from Kavala, Lavrio (Athens) Thessalonici and Mytilini.
The small capital of Limnos, Myrina is about 15 minute walk from the hotel, with its fishing harbour, the old castle the shops and the fishing taverns. Apart from the high season (June-August), are also pleasant months: May, September, October to laze in this Greek island.
