Villagio Magnolia is a traditional accommodation unit with significant heritage background. It is established in an exceptional location, on the south side of Lefkada, at the center of Syvros village which is full of flourishing and lush vegetation. The unit is surrounded by a traditional stone-made wall in order to provide our guests with the highest privacy.
Villagio Magnolia is spreading in an area of 3000 sq.m., and features a large swimming (200 sq.m.), endless gardens, barbeque facilities, one arbour with 2 large marble tables, a traditional oven (usable) and 4 traditional stone houses, built in 1850. Our guests are spending most of their time underneath the arbour combining their meals and drinks by enjoining the magnificent view to the bay of Vassiliki.
The unit facilitates 4 stone houses consisted by two maisonettes and two ground floor houses. The style and decoration of the houses is maintaining intact all the traditional elements intact accompanied by antique furniture. One maisonette is 140 sq.m. and on the ground floor is the kitchen, the dining area, the sitting hall, the bathroom the TV and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two single beds. There is also an internal wooden stair that leads to another bedroom with a queen bed. The maisonette is air-conditioned throughout.
The second maisonette is smaller (80 sq.m.) and featuring on the ground floor a sitting hall, a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV, a bathroom with bathtub and a bedroom with queen bed. In addition the internal marble stair takes you to the loft where an additional bedroom with queen bed is. The maisonette is air-conditioned throughout.
One house is 80 sq.m. providing our guests with TV, kitchen, dining table, large bathroom, fireplace, rollaway sofa-bed (for 2 adults) and 2 bedrooms, one with queen and one with single bed.
The other house is also 80 sq.m., supplied with 2 bedrooms, one with a queen and one with two single beds, TV, sitting hall, dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The house has also a corner with a usable old-fashioned traditional kitchen.
All houses were the headquarters of the Italian army during the Italian bondage from 1941 until 1943. Today the houses have been renovated with respect to the history and the legacy of the property in order to nominate its distinctive elements such as the furniture, the vaulted wooden doors, oars, etc. Close to Villagio Magnolia there is also an old olive press which can be visited.
The region offers to its visitors unique experiences such as the old-tenable stone houses, the numerous flowing natural water sources, the old-fashioned olive oil press, the traditional and biologic products, and the panoramic views to the bay of Vassiliki.
