Lavkos

The mountainous village of Lavkos is located 45 km from Volos and is built at an altitude of 330 m. It stands atop a hill and offers stunning views of Milina, the island of Alatas, and the Pagasetic Gulf.

It is a beautiful village with a strong traditional character. The well-preserved stone houses, old mansions, and the villages characteristic cobbled streets invite you to explore them and transport you back to bygone times.

Among the villages attractions, it is worth visiting the Monastery of Agios Athanasios, which dates back to 1795. It is located in a lush green ravine just a few kilometers from Lavkos.
