About Achaea
The Achaea prefecture is located in the northwestern part of the Peloponnese. The area has been inhabited since ancient times and boasts a glorious historical path. Notable cities flourished on its lands and great personalities were born. The impressive historical monuments scattered throughout the prefecture reveal aspects of the region's history.
