About Pieria
Pieria is a region in Central Macedonia, known for its unique combination of mountains and sea. To the west stands Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece and the mythical home of the gods, while to the east lies the coastline of the Thermaic Gulf with beautiful beaches.
The region has significant historical and cultural value, with archaeological sites such as ancient Pydna and Dion, which was an important religious and political center in antiquity. Dion is now one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece.
