Vathi

Vathy is the capital and main town of Ithaca in the Ionian Islands. It is located on a large, sheltered natural bay on the southeastern side of the island, surrounded by green hills and mountains.

Vathy is known for its deep harbor, which is one of the largest natural harbors in the Mediterranean. The town features a charming waterfront with neoclassical buildings, narrow streets, shops, cafés, and traditional tavernas, blending everyday life with tourism.
