About Tinos

Tinos is a Greek island located in the central Cyclades in the Aegean Sea, near Mykonos and Andros. It is known for its strong religious significance, traditional villages, and artistic heritage.

The island is famous for the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Greece. Tinos also features numerous traditional villages such as Pyrgos, known for marble craftsmanship and sculpture. Its landscape includes terraced hills, windmills, and a rugged coastline with many beaches.

Today, Tinos is a destination that combines religious tourism, cultural exploration, and relaxed island life. It attracts visitors for its authenticity, art tradition, hiking routes, and quieter alternative to more cosmopolitan Cycladic islands.
