Iraklia
About Iraklia
Iraklia is a small island located in the Small Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea, between Naxos and Amorgos. It is known for its quiet atmosphere, unspoiled nature, and very low population density.
The island features rocky hills, small bays, and clear blue waters. It has a minimal road network and few settlements, with the main villages being Agios Georgios and Panagia. Its caves, such as the Cave of Agios Ioannis, are among its natural attractions.
Today, Iraklia is a destination for extremely quiet and alternative tourism. It attracts visitors seeking isolation, hiking, swimming in remote beaches, and an authentic, untouched Cycladic island experience.
