Kato Tithorea

Kato Tithorea is a town in Phthiotis, located at the foothills of Mount Parnassus, near the main railway line connecting Athens-Lamia-Larissa. It serves as an important local center with a strong agricultural and semi-mountainous character.

The area combines fertile plains with a mountainous backdrop and is located near Livadeia and Amfiklia. The presence of the railway historically contributed to its development.

Today, Kato Tithorea functions as a local administrative and commercial center and a base for exploring Mount Parnassus and the wider region.
