About Koryschades
Koryschades is a historic mountain village in Evrytania, near Karpenisi. It is built in a lush fir-covered landscape and is one of the most characteristic traditional villages in the region.
The village has particular historical significance, as in May 1944 it hosted the PEEA (Political Committee of National Liberation), known as the "Mountain Government," making it an important reference point in modern Greek history.
Today, Koryschades is a popular destination for cultural and mountain tourism, combining history, traditional architecture, and natural beauty.
