Στο νησί υπήρχαν πλούσια κοιτάσματα οψιδιανού, υλικού χρήσιμου για την κατασκευή όπλων και εργαλείων τον οποίο οι κάτοικοι της Μήλου εμπορεύονταν στην Κρήτη, τα νησιά και την Ηπειρωτική Ελλάδα.

We opened in 1993, with the aim of cooking exactly as we do at home. With fresh ingredients, recipes as we learned them from our parents and a great deal of passion. More than thirty years later, nothing has changed. Today, we remain a family taverna that loves the flavours of its place. We do not try to change the traditional recipes, nor to present them differently from what they are. We prefer to respect them and serve them as we ourselves came to know them.

At Petrinos restaurant we are taking inspiration from the rich tradition of Aegean cuisine, offering you an unforgettable culinary experience. We are located on the beach road of Adamas, an exquisite spot by the seaside with a panoramic view of the picturesque bay and the port.
