Departing from the Marina of Agios Nikolaos, our journey promises a semi-private escape filled with delightful socializing and shared experiences. It begins with relaxation or actively participating in sailing procedures. Marvel at the stunning coastal views as we sail, feeling the invigorating sea breeze against your skin. After circumnavigating Spinalonga and admiring the Venetian fortress from the sea, we set sail toward Kolokitha. Upon reaching Kolokitha, we drop anchor in one of its beautiful bays, where you're free to immerse yourself in its pristine waters, explore the coastline, or simply unwind on deck, soaking in the sunshine. Our company ensures your comfort with light snacks served on board, complemented by premium local wine and refreshments. Enjoy a selection of ripe, seasonal fruits as we gently sail back to the Marina of Agios Nikolaos, leaving you feeling invigorated, revitalized, and prepared for the evening ahead.

The trip continues with us stopping at one of the most picturesque bays of the area, where we will take a refreshing swim in the dazzling turquoise sea and the captain will offer us a filling snack. Throughout our trip, we will meet plenty of breathtaking scenery. Our captain, who has 30 years of experience in the sea, will do his best so as we enjoy a safe and enjoyable journey. We leave from Agios Nikolaos Marina and sail into the Mirabello Gulf, one of the most dramatic bays in Greece. Along the way, we troll for tuna and bonito the way local fishermen always have — if something takes the bait, everyone gets involved. We pass Spinalonga, the Venetian fortress and former leper colony that inspired Victoria Hislop's novel The Island, with your crew sharing its story as you take in the view. We anchor in a sheltered bay with clear turquoise water — swim, snorkel among Cretan marine life, or fish straight from the boat. All equipment is on board. Want to know how the boat works? Ask. The crew is happy to share — reading the wind, handling the sails, navigating these waters. Get involved as much or as little as you like. When it's time to eat: shrimp pasta, dakos, tzatziki, fresh salads, and a fruit platter, all made with local ingredients. To drink: unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks, water, and a glass of raki to finish — the way any good Cretan meal ends.

Made famous also by Victoria Hishop’s homonymous novel, Spinalonga (The island) bears way more history than its size would ever suggest. Being a Venetian Fortress overseeing the Bay – Port of Elounda as well as a later leper Colony, “The island” is basically a nutshell full of our past! We'll drive through the thin stripe of land connecting the village of Elounda with its peninsula (forming tha bay) and see the mesmerizing Sunken City of Olous from up close. Elounda being one of the most beautiful places / beaches of the north of Crete, and St. Nicolas with its famous narrow walking streets, lake cafes and local agora, will definitely complete the experience of a nice day’s trip. Throughout the day, most of the drives from place to place will be interesting and scenic and you'll always be able to stop at any place you feel like stoping at! Agios Nikolaos, Elounda and Plaka are all full of nice traditional (or not) places for Lunch, Coffee and Snacks!
