 5th International Art Festival “CHANIA 2007”

 The Modern Art Center Omma organizes the 5th International Art Festival “Chania 2007” at the old Customs House in the Venetian port of Chania.
The 5th International Art Festival will take place between June 5th and June 12th. The visitors of Chania will have the chance to attend the largest art festival in the island.
The old Customs House opens up its 4.000 sq. m. to art by painters, digital and video artists, sculptors and photographers.
There will be exhibited pieces of art from all over the world. Each artist will exhibit two pieces of work, which will be judged by critics.
The visitors can walk through the narrow stone streets of different quarters of the city, each representing their own little bit of its history.
People of different nationality, culture and religion lived in the quarters around the old Town of Chania. The monuments left behind gave Chania a different feature.
The Old Town, the historic monuments and the Venetian architecture impress every visitor.
Chania offer alternative choices in entertainment. Theaters, cinemas, bars, clubs, anything you want is at your disposal.
