The village of Gkoura, the capital of the Municipality of Feneos, offers stunning views over the Feneos plain. In Gkoura, visitors can explore charming streets lined with many old mansions. The village also has a Health Center, making it well-equipped for residents and travelers alike. From Gkoura, numerous nearby excursions are possible, allowing visitors to spend their leisure time creatively.
Just north, in Feneos, you can visit the Folklore Museum and the stone-built Church of Agios Spyridon. Very close by lies the artificial Lake Doxa, along with the ruins of ancient Feneos near the village. A bit further north are the villages of Ano and Kato Tarsos, home to the famous Monastery of Panagia of the Rocks, built into the cliff. To the south, you will find Mosiá and the beautiful Kastania, nestled within a fir forest, renowned for the "Xenia" hotel.
