Ditiki Frangista is a magnificent village, with no similarity to the others in Evritania. It is very close to the artificial lake of Kremaston. Dozens of small islands surround the lake creating a unique picture. These islands are the crests of the mountains hidden under the lake.
Ditiki Frangista is built in an altitude of 761 m and it is the capital of Frangista Municipality.
The village was initially named Mikri Frangista. There are two versions for the derivation of this name. The first says that the village was named after the Franks, while the other says that it was named after its first resident, Frangistas.
