It is a very picturesque small port located about 67 km from Chania, featuring a beautiful, extensive beach. The undeniable beauty of the landscape attracts many tourists. The beach is known for its clear but deep waters, as well as the fine pebbles found in certain areas. In a more secluded part of the beach, nudists gather. From Sougia, you can take a small boat to visit ancient Lissos and admire the ruins of the ancient city.
