Concretely here they are found three (3) of the 449 spots of L.P.N.B. (landscapes particular natural beauties) that can be found in Greece, as these were determined in 1999 from program «FILOTIS» of MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT PLANNING AND PUBLIC WORKS. TIFK 179 (Drakolimnes Arrenes), the TIFK181 (ravine of river Aliakmona) and the TIFK182 (landscapes of Pine). In near distance is still found the virgin forest «Mparougka», nominated monument of nature with Presidential decree 1985. But the beauties is not limited only in this officially recognized landscapes. Near by the hostel are the installations of the famous River party with imposing nature. Very near is found the «Skiti of Antonios» built in a cave in a vertical rock, as the Meteora. Beyond this exists a place called "Aetovrachos" which is a stone shaping of beak of eagle. In very good situation is maintained the byzantine church of Saint Zacharia, and the unique in the Balkans church of Giannochory village that resembles with lyric scene. In the entry of Nestorio is found the rock of Pigasou, that the characteristic red colour emanated according to the fable - from the blood of winged horse that struck there. Nearby it is raised the «Castle» with curious small cave that was sometimes barred by a gate. In his root were found ruins of Romans castles. In in Nestorio exists the temple of Brigadiers with astonishing art wooden templo. From here was removed wooden statue that was transported in the museum Benaki. In the next village of Saint ¶nnas are found the ancient monastery of Brigadiers (1225mh) with his impressive waterfall and the hill with the castles of ancient Vatina. More short unfolds the magnificent valley «Stenon». In Monopylo are distinguished clearly the geological layers that millions years before raised the Grammos from the depths of the sea. From the top you may see the Smolika and the Olympus mountain. These are just a few of the places and the monuments you may see. You will be astonished of all the things that Grammos has to show you.
