The peninsula of Lassi is located northwest of Argostoli and is one of the most famous regions in the island. It distinguishes for its natural beauty and tourist infrastructures, satisfying all demands. Here you will find many hotel complexes and rooms to let. Also restaurants and taverns, where you will taste unique recipes of the eptanesean and international cuisine.
In Lassi you will see one of the most known sites in the island. The Lighthouse of Saints Theodori. It was built in 1829, during the period of English possession. It distinguishes among other lighthouses, due to its particular architecture. It is a cyclic building of Doric style with no similarity. The lighthouse suffered a lot of catastrophes during the 1953 earthquakes, but was reconstructed keeping its special architectonic style. It is worth enjoying a sunset from the Lighthouse of Saints Theodori. The spectacle is breathtaking.
Lassi has a beautiful beach, one of the most cosmopolitan in the island. Close to it are the famous beaches of Makris Gialos and Platis Gialos.
