Analipsi village or Maltezana, as the locals call it, is 8km from Chora. It is the most verdurous location in the island. Its settlement is underpopulated and only the last year it has shown some kind of tourist development. There are rooms to let in the region offering all comforts and a beautiful view to the green lands. In Analipsi you will find many graphic taverns with fine recipes and bars for your nightlife.
In Analipsi you will see exceptional mosaics in the Roman Baths of Talaras with representations of the zodiac circle and four seasons. It is worth visiting the church of Analipsis the oldest in the island, as and the church of Panagia Poulariani near the homonym cave .You can only reach it by boat.
