Lias is a village located at the foothills of Mount Mourgkana, approximately 68 km from Igoumenitsa. This village boasts a rich and long-standing history. The remnants of the walls built in the 3rd century BC by the legendary King Pyrrhus of Epirus testify to the remarkable civilization that once thrived in the area.
During your visit, be sure to see the Church of Agia Paraskevi, adorned with frescoes by the renowned artist Theophilos, as well as the Church of Agios Dimitrios, perched at the highest point of the village, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
