Kyknos is a 4-star Holiday Resort, situated 32kms east of the airport of Heraklion between Malia and Stalida, a place that attracts thousands of visitors every summer. The hotel is ideally located in the middle of Crete's most important points or interest. Although it is quiet and peaceful around the hotel, one of Crete's best nightlife resorts, i.e. Malia town, is just a 15 minute walk. Run by the family of Georgios and Eva Tsamandouras, Hotel Kyknos combines perfectly the high standard 4* services with the traditional cretan family atmosphere.
FACILITIES:
The hotel consists of a main building and 6 bungalow buildings spread in the rich gardens, and has altogether 134 rooms. In the main building is our friendly reception hall with the comfortable lobby, the dinning room with the veranda overlooking the pool and the main bar.
Among the main building and the bungalows is our large swimming pool, the 2 children's pools with the water slides, the pool-snack bar, the childrens' playground, the tennis court, the mini golf, the mini market and the parking lot.
The room amenities include: self controlled air conditioning system, satellite TV-Radio, safe deposit box, hairdryer, refrigerator, direct dial telephone, telephone in the bathroom, bathroom with bathtub, balcony or terrace.
At the reception desk you can have cars and bikes rented as well as organized bus tours.
In the morning we offer a rich breakfast buffet with lots of cold and warm choices. In the afternoon we serve a-la-carte lunch at the snack bar! In the evening you can dine in our dinning room, where there are rich buffets of soups, salads, hot dishes, fruits, ice cream and desserts.
The on-site sport facilities include: tennis, mini golf, billiard, table tennis, baby foot and darts. Outside of the hotel there is a wide variety of sports, from the most common ones, eg. football and volleyball to the very special ones, eg. go-carts and bungee jumping. |
